Clip of Deborah reading from Sisterhood, Interrupted at Cody’s Bookstore in Berkeley:
“Able to bridge the gaps between feminists of all ages, Siegel is a captivating speaker who eloquently touches on the struggles and victories of the women’s movement past and present–inspiring us to try to understand each other as feminists and to forge ahead in our common goal of true equality for all women. Having seen her speak on several occasions, I can easily say that Siegel is a dynamic catalyst for the much needed dialogue between people longing to discuss these sensitive and relevant issues. Her brilliant work and enduring optimism is sure to create a connection between, renew a sense of hope in, and move to action, anyone who cares about the future of women’s rights.”
